What kinds of vacations do you plan?

Every professional has their niche, an area that they really excel and specialize in. I am no different. I have areas of travel that I specialize in.

I would define my specialty as "family adventure travel". I love helping families, multigenerational families and couples create magical adventures. This means I work to create vacations to the following destinations:

  • United States, including Hawaii and Alaska

  • Theme Park destinations

  • Mexico

  • Caribbean

  • Cruises

  • Europe

  • French Polynesia

  • Canada
     

I also work with group and employee incentive trips, because our work family is important too!

Our lifelong friends can be just as close as family, if not closer sometimes! I help friends create adventures together.

My goal is to take the stress of planning and traveling away, so all you need to focus on are the fun outfits and enjoying time with your loved ones!

Are your services really free?

Yes, and no.
I do not typically charge fees to my clients because I am compensated (on commissionable items) by my suppliers after your travel is complete. My services are complimentary with your vacation purchased through me. However, there are some circumstances where a separate fee is needed to compensate me for additional time and services (ie: large groups, expedited services, reworking).

No, I do not get paid for my time, knowledge, expertise and service until after you come home from your vacation.

Yes, travel suppliers have a commission amount already built in to their prices. This means that you pay the same when we work together. They will pay me the commission about 6 - 8 weeks AFTER you travel. I will not get paid if you do not travel.

No, travel suppliers do not discount the commission if you book directly with them. They will keep the commission for themselves.

Yes, when we work together, you are supporting small, local business.

No, I do not get paid to have a Discovery Call, research your vacation, present personalized options and then have you take that information and book on your own or with another travel supplier.

Yes, when we work together, we are building YOUR ideal vacation and you are getting the benefit of my support, time, knowledge, expertise, service and advocacy.

Do you book flights?

The short answer is no. However, I do offer the complimentary service of helping my clients research the best flight options to suit their wants and needs. My clients then take this information and book their flights directly with the airline.

There are several reasons as to why it is better to book your flights with the airline directly. To name a few:

  • Clients will have access to the best fares and schedules.

  • Clients will have direct and immediate control over the flights, changes and any air credit that may be owed should a change or cancellation be made.

I will assist with all other travel components!

How should we communicate?

I love having live conversations. This allows me to get to know you better and to ensure that we have clear communication.

Email is best when we are confirming plans. This allows me to keep all of your information in an easily searchable location.

You can also text.

Social media messaging is less desirable because I am not always on social sites like Facebook and Instagram.

Will you save me money?

I will always work to get my clients the very best pricing on their personalized vacation package.

I do offer the service of price watching, so that if there is a better rate or promotion released, I will work to modify your package to get the best rate.

When clients book early, they get the most benefits:

  • best availability

  • most options

  • more time to save up

  • more opportunities for promotions

What are your office hours?

Please know that my main goal is to service you well with clear and prompt communication.

My regular office hours are:
Monday - Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm
Friday from 8 am - 11 am

Evenings and Saturdays are by special appointment.

If you call and I do not answer, this means I am with a client, in a meeting or with my family. Please always leave a message and I will call you back in a timely fashion.

I am very diligent about prompt responses.
